This project was for the construction and fitting out of 2 number student blocks between existing accommodation blocks at Callice Court in Coventry
The 69 rooms were constructed over 4 floor and works were carried out adjacent to occupied student blocks. The blocks were founded on piles and were constructed utilising an insitu reinforced concrete structure clad traditionally in brickwork to match existing structures. Each room was fitted out to the latest Unite specification including en suite facilities and shared kitchen areas.
Key challenges in this scheme included working within a live student environment as well significant traffic management and logistical constraints.
