25+ years in Construction

Jon Noble

Chairman

Jon is one of the founders of the Company having joined in 1989. Prior to this he was a Partner at Henry Riley & Son (now Riley Consulting) Chartered Quantity Surveyors who were the original 50/50 joint venture partners with Ernest Green Structural Engineers (now White Young Green).

In 1997 he was one of the three founders who completed the MBO taking the company into private ownership which is how it remains today.

As Commercial Director he was involved in the growth of the Company through the 1990’s and the transition from a Construction Management Company to a Main Contractor by the year 2000.

He became Managing Director in 2008 and Chairman in 2018.

As Chairman he remains actively involved in the development of the Company working closely with the management team.

Dave Dixon

RG Group Managing Director

Dave brings more than two decades of construction leadership experience, spanning on-site engineering, project delivery and account management.

He works closely with clients and design teams to ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations, backed by strong technical knowledge across structural, façade, M&E and sustainable building solutions.

Mick Mullarkey

Commercial Director

Mick joined the RG Group in 1993 as a Commercial Manager overseeing a diverse range of project sectors including residential, retail and commercial projects before joining the board as Commercial Director in 2003.

Mick has extensive experience and detailed understanding of the construction process, which has been gained across new build, extension and refurbishment developments, with a wide knowledge of the construction market. Mick is particularly skilled at understanding contracts, budgets and value management.

Mick is a great team leader and excellent communicator who will strive to ensure that the wider RG team understand both the business and client goals of a project, adding real value at all process stages.

Adam Crabtree

Construction Director

Adam has over 20 years of experience in construction and has progressed through RG Group from Site Manager to Construction Director, joining the board in 2020.

With a background across retail and commercial sectors, he is known for hands-on leadership, strong communication and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

Chris Lambourn

Pre-Construction Director

Chris joined RG as a Placement Student in 2000 and quickly progressed to commercial manager before undertaking project management responsibilities. In 2020 was appointed to the board as Construction Director.

Chris has worked on a wide range of new build, extension and refurbishment schemes covering a variety of sectors including Residential, Retail, Student Accommodation, Commercial and Distribution. With overall responsibility for setting up all aspects of projects both at Pre construction and Construction delivery stages. He works closely with the Construction and Commercial teams ensuring that both the clients and our expectations are being met at all times.

Chris brings a highly valuable level of professional and technical knowledge and experience to RG projects, with problem solving and value engineering solutions second nature, he is a valuable asset to complex and time constrained contracts. With Chris’s communication, management skills and enthusiam he leads the project teams with culture of high performance.

Mark Hitchcock

Commercial Director

Mark combines deep commercial delivery expertise with a strong background in estimating, surveying and procurement.

Having joined RG Group in 2006 after nine years with Kier, he brings wide-ranging experience across new build and refurbishment schemes, helping shape budgets, manage risk and support efficient project delivery.

Jon O'Donovan

Commercial Director

Jon joined RG in 1995 as a year out student as part of his Quantity Surveying Degree and then on his graduation in 1997 joined as a Cost Manager working his way up to Commercial Manager by 2007. After taking some time out from RG Group Jon returned as Associate Commercial Director heading teams an projects for our various clients. Jon was appointed to the board of directors in January 2025.

He has worked on varies types of schemes including Residential, Retail, Distribution, Commercial Fit Out & Student Accommodation. He has been involved in these Projects at all stages so understands what it takes to ensure a Project is successful.

Jon has a strong commercial sense and strives to make sure throughout the process he gets best value for the Client and ourselves while creating a collaborative work environment with our Supply Chain.

Jon has a very professional and approachable personality that brings a sense of togetherness throughout the team making sure that the Client’s needs are met to the highest standards and the best value.

Nick Hayes

RG Real Estate Managing Director

Nick has a wealth of knowledge in the living sector where he spent 15 years working at Unite Group PLC.

He spent 5 years on the Executive Committee leading all Real Estate activities as Group Property Director.

Nick has been involved in the delivery of over 30,000 beds in the living sector and involved in a number of major investment transactions.

He is well known in the sector and spent over 5 years on the BPF Student Accommodation Committee.

Nick Hayes is a founding partner and Managing Director of RGRE.
