RG Group are currently undertaking the design and build of a new build student accommodation tower at Merrion Way, Leeds.

The development will deliver 705 beds across 44 storeys and will be the tallest building in Leeds and the worlds tallest PBSA tower. At ground floor level the scheme a generous lobby / reception / amenity space which is overlooked by the reception desk. This level also operational areas such as bin storage and plant areas. At levels 1 & 2 more amenity space is provided plus a bike storage area at level 1. Thereafter levels 3 to 43 accommodate the student bedrooms which are positioned as cluster flats with a shared kitchen area or independent studio rooms. At upper levels of 38 and 39 some additional amenity space is provided including a roof terrace at level 39.

The scheme will have piled foundations with a concrete frame and powder coated aluminium cladding panel system. The scope includes external landscaping, public realm area and services connections.
