Sainsbury’s. Ansty Park, Car Park, Coventry

RG Group were awarded the construction of a 4 storey car park, forming phase 2 of the works successfully undertaken under a separate contract to reconfigure 75,000sqft of office space and construct a 30,000sqft test shop facility.

The car park provides 553 parking spaces to the neighbouring Sainsburys offices located within the business estate.

The multi storey car park is steel frame in structure and utilises an innovative Goldbeck modular system.

The strip foundation design carries precast planks with epoxy joints, forming the car park surface. Externally the car park has a mesh barrier system overclad with timber to blend in with the existing buildings on the business park.

The project was successfully completed on time and within budget and coincided with the full staff reoccupation of the main office buildings.
