RG Group undertook the design and build of a developer’s shell to accommodate a 120 bedroom Holiday Inn hotel located above retail space on the ground floor. The scheme included the building shell, external works and main services.
The project involved some enabling works which include demolition, party wall and services diversions works.
The new building had piled foundations with a podium steel frame and slabs, off which a SFS structure was constructed for the upper floors. The structure then had the roof and external cladding and windows and render installed.
The scheme is located on the edge of a public square and our works include soft and hard landscaping related to public realm works to Keel Square.
