New Development Venture Spearheaded by Nick Hayes

RG Group, a renowned contracting firm, has unveiled its newest undertaking, RG Real Estate (RGRE), headed by Nick Hayes.

With an impressive track record as the former head of Unite Group’s property business, Nick brings a wealth of experience in development, investment, and asset management to his new role as Managing Director of RG Real Estate.

RG Real Estate offers direct development services to institutional funds and investors seeking to gain market share across the living sector, using RG Group’s expertise as the principal contractor.

Meeting modern renters needs

The move by the RG Group into development comes at a time when there is a structural undersupply of rental accommodation in the UK, driven by growing demand from student and young professional renters.

At the same time, new pipeline has slowed significantly in recent years and the number of existing private rental homes are falling.

RG Group has moved to address this undersupply and provide quality rental accommodation that meets the needs of modern renters.

Nick will join the business at the end of June.
