This mixed use scheme comprised the design and construction of a new retail store shell together with 32 apartments, car parking and associated public realm works.
The new store on stilts had a 50,000sq ft sales floor area and space for 305 car parking spaces. A two storey Energy Centre provided space allocation for district heating to both the retail and residential blocks. The residential block over 10 stories comprised 32 fully fitted apartments with NHBC certification and two further retail shells at ground floor level.
Public Realm Space and S.278 Works comprising a new 4-arm roundabout, toucan crossing and a left-in/left-out junction completed the scheme.
The whole scheme achieved a BREAAM rating of Very Good with over 99.6% waste diverted to landfill.
