This project was to construct a new 54,000 sq ft supermarket and car park with associated retail units and a new doctors surgery. Extensive 278 works on all 4 sides of the site improved the local road infrastructure.
The external envelope consisted of full brick slip and mixture of pitched tiles and flat roofs to blend into local village surroundings. The internal fit-out required of the construction of all dividing walls, ceilings, floor finishes and decorations. The services installation included sprinklers, refrigeration, heating, HVAC, lighting, power, CCTV and security. There is also the installation of all gondola, fixtures and fittings, and the installation of 11 belted checkouts and 6 self scan checkouts.
The doctors surgery adjacent to the new store, was partially demolished with remaining shell then extended both in foot print and height to form new surgery. A temporary doctors was provided on the newly finished car deck to allow these works to take place. The newly extened surgery was then full refurbished and fitted out with all new M&E, floor, wall & ceiling finishes and full fixtures & fittings.
