Sainsbury’s, Bridgemead

This project was a refurbishment scheme of an existing Sainsbury’s store in Bridgemead, Swindon. There was also a new Good on line (GOL) extension built off of the sales floor.

The existing sales area, domestic and bulk stock areas stayed in a similar configuration with no structural works, a full sprinkler system was installed with sprinkler tank and pump room adjacent to the new GOL.

All sales area equipment was replaced, with branding and decoration updated to the latest standard.
The existing refrigeration plant was replaced by new CO2 units. Two new gas LPHW roof mounted AHU’s with cold aisle retrieval were installed to provide heat & cooling for the sales area.

A Biomass boiler was installed in the service yard to replace the existing gas supply for whole store.
Externally the car park layout was altered with new entrance road way and resurfaced completely, inc new white lining over several phases throughout the project.
