The Project was the fit out of a recently modified shell unit for Primark, within an existing out of town retail park. The fit out included sales floor and back of house/staff facilities over 2 main floors, and included the installation of all roof plant and external plantrooms and external front façade installations.
The design was a roll out of the recent new concept brand and incorporated all staff facilities including Cash Office, Administration offices, training and meeting rooms and canteen along with staff changing facilities. The main sales area was split over 2 floors, accessed via a central atrium escalator area, with high level specialist lighting and decorative finishes.
Goods and Customer lifts were installed between sales/back of house areas and roof level for maintenance, escalators were positioned centrally to the store, these were installed in one section with millimetre planning as we had only 50mm tolerances with to install between existing columns and due to a lowered steel structure.
