Carried out over 3 floors including back of house modifications, this scheme is a current refurbishment within a heavyly trafficed store.
With a significant amount of Asbestos across all floors, detailed phasing to minimise disruption to the store was carried out and works sectioned out over 10 key phases. The project was closely monitored by both M&S H&S and the HSE with no issues encountered.
The store traded through out with areas closed for periods i.e cafe and customer toilets and required detailed and daily liaison with the store to ensure both teams were working in sync.
Scope of work included:
1. Remodelled food hall (12 week programme).
2. New customer toilets and cafe (7 week programme).
3. New fitting rooms on all floors, including customer service desks.
4. New concept shopfit.
5. Full back of house refurbishment.
