RG Group were appointed the main contractor for the 35,000 sq. ft. Morrisons at Dalton Park, Seaham, County Durham.
The project scope consisted of the fit out of an existing shell which included all internal services (Mechanical, Electrical and Refrigeration) and the installation of photovoltaic panels to the roof.
The building envelope was modified to suit the requirements of the clients store plan and specifications which involved both structural and glazing amendments. The existing drainage was also altered to suit the requirements of the new concept sales floor layout.
The store included a Bakery, Delicatessen, Butchers, Fishmongers, Pizza and Hot Food counters and preparation areas along with a 152 seat customer café and toilets.
