This project comprised significant structural works withing the existing trading shopping centre together with a rear extension to the operational service yard area. Rear and roof extensions were carried out included demolition of existing roof and elevations. Enabling works required the diversion of existing HV power and drainage within the service yard to facilitate the construction of the piled foundations and pile caps for the new extension structure.
New construction of the rear extension at upper mall level required construction to be carried out allowing the service yard to continue to operate at lower mall level beneath. In addition to these there is a new mezzanine levelcreated by raising the existing roofline.
All works were carried out in an extremely operational environment with numerous neighbour and other operational stakeholder interfaces.
