This project comprised the demolition of an existing cinema with 3 new retail units erected in its place.
The steel frame structure was constructed with composite cladding and glazing as the envelope. Power floated concrete slabs were cast within the unit with full height partitions between the units.
Car Park alterations were carried out to create new parking areas along with modernising the existing car park. A new pedestrian ramp was installed adjacent to the units to give pedestrians easier access from other areas of the retail park. 278 works were required to existing roadways including introduction of new traffic lights and roadway adaptions.
The project had a tight programme and awkward handover sequencing due to client needs and requirements for release of the units.
