The project comprised of the refurbishment of existing central shopping mall together with the surrounding shop units. All works were undertaken whilst the shopping centre continued to trade as normal with much of the works undertaken at night.
Demolition of the existing retail units within the central core preceded construction of a new build central pavilion, consisting of seven separate smaller units. Newly erected shop fronts to the surrounding mall were finished with coloured glazing and stainless steel finishes. The new central area was finished in cedar cladding, stainless steel and coloured glass.
The main works package included the installation of new lighting throughout the working areas and the installation of new goods lifts and alterations to services inclusive of existing fire sprinkler pipework.
