RG Group were appointed to build a new Customer Distribution Hub shell for Evander Properties on a new industrial / commercial area in Uckfield, East Sussex. The project entailed the Design, Construction and Completion of the shell and core of the 49,500ft² main warehouse together with all associated enabling works, car park with associated lighting. Service yard constriction with the fuel station and jet wash, service yards, van weighbridge, drainage and main incoming services completed the works.
Construction comprised pad foundations with a steel frame and ground floor slab. Hollow deck slabs were installed on 1st floors and the structure was clad with composite panel cladding, precast loading dock wall. Externally the concrete yard areas were constructed stabilised soil to minimise spoil removal from site.
RG Group have also been appointed on the fit out of the unit on behalf of the end user John Lewis.
