The project comprised of the complete refurbishment and extension to an existing shopping centre and Asda store in Hunts Cross, Liverpool.
The works package consisted of the demolition to parts of the store together with an extension to facilitate expansion. The proposed store layout included a new cafeteria, customer toilets, relocation of checkouts, refurbishment of the deli area and the relocation of the store warehouse.
The project also included substantial structural alteration works to the atrium of the existing shopping mall in addition to alterations and refurbishment of the new mall shop units ready to receive tenants.
Minor external works completed the project, including car park and associated drainage works.
