In 2014 RG were appointed as Main Contractor on the new retail development at Dorridge. One of the goals of the project was to help in the regeneration of the town centre, and RG took the opportunity to introduce several sustainability initiatives.
In July this year the project won a Green Apple Silver Award for Waste Management in the UK. It has since gone on to compete against more than 500 other nominations in the International Green World Environment Awards and won a Bronze International Award for Environmental Best Practice.
As a result of this success, RG will have their winning paper published in The Green Book, a work of reference on environmental best practice which is distributed worldwide. We have also been honoured as a Green World Ambassador 2016 at a special ceremony in the Houses of Parliament this November.
