Joe goes back to school

Joe Nolan, working on RG’s Swan House in Manchester, recently attended the Manchester Islamic School for Girls Skills Challenge Day. The visit was part of our ongoing to commitment to the local communities we work in.

The girls were split into working groups and Joe worked with one of the groups to encourage team working, thinking outside of the box skills, how to work together to solve certain scenarios, how to put your thoughts and ideas across in a well thought out way etc.

Joe said, “it was an absolute joy to take part. It was brilliant to see the girls change from shy and quiet, as during lockdown they had not been allowed out of home to attend school, into engaged young individuals all with something positive to contribute.”
