The project in the existing County Mall Shopping Centre and consisted of the fit out of new Primark store with Sales floors and associated Back of House facilities spread over 3 levels. The Basement design was based on Primark’s new concept idea and incorporated the stores staff areas including Cash Office, Managers Offices and Training Rooms, Changing Rooms, Toilets and Kitchen and Canteen areas. The remaining floor area was allocated as storage area for the stores merchandise.
The Lower Mall and Upper Mall were fitted out as retail areas with associated changing and sales areas. The finishes were installed by specialist shop-fitters and complimented by Primark’s own fixture and fittings that provide Primark with its own individual style.
Goods lifts were installed that serviced the Basement and the Lower and Upper Malls. Passenger lifts and escalators operate between the two sales floors. All floor areas are linked by an internal escape stair. A new plant area and associated bolier and cooling plant was installed within the shopping centre carpark.
